A Forbidden Stamp: East German Support for Palestine

A stamp from East Germany, issued in 1982. It says: "Solidarity with Palestinian people".  Before Germany was reunited, it didn't always pro Zionist.

Nowadays, a stamp like this would be impossible to find in Germany. It would be seen as "anti-Semitic" (anti-Jewish).
